Each coach at TFW Orange County has over 10 years of experience, and have one thing in common: they are all dedicated to helping you get your movement back.

Rob Peterson

Though his training style has evolved over the years, one thing has remained constant - Rob’s personal mission to teach people how to own their movement so that they can move better, perform better and feel better in their everyday life.

Rob has been helping people get their movement back for close to two decades, obtaining his first certification from AFAA in 1998.

Rob has achieved a number of other accreditations since his first AFAA certification, now holding NASM: CPT and PES certifications, as well as a TPI, FMS and TFW Levels 1 and 2 certifications.

On a continual quest to help his clients move better, Rob is currently studying with Chung-Fu (Triple Chain Theory) Master, Will Chung – [live link to Triple Chain Theory info page] whose cutting edge philosophies are revolutionizing how people move and few their body.

Amidst his years of training, Rob has also been relentless in his pursuit of knowledge. Not only in fitness and movement, but also sport. That drive took him from club soccer to semi-pro football, and ultimately, to Utah. In Utah, Rob trained at the Olympic level in both long track speed skating and 4-man bobsled – where his team competed in the US team trials, earning a top 5 spot in the country.

In the 18 years that Rob has been coaching he has had the pleasure of working with clients at all fitness levels and from all walks of life, ranging from 9-year old soccer players to 80-year old bi-lateral knee replacement patients and wheelchair-bound spina bifida Paralympic hopefuls. He has also helped the US Naval Special Warfare outfit train their teams.

No matter the client, Rob always uses his passion and Knowledge of the body to get people to their goals and increase their quality of life.

Whether talking with fellow coaches, therapists or doctors, or lecturing college students and exploring new certifications, Rob is always striving to expand his knowledge so that he (and the rest of the TFW Orange County team) can find the quickest, most scientific and safest methods possible to get his clients results.

Bruce Dockal

With over 12 years of industry experience, Bruce has made it his personal mission to help people achieve their fitness goals. Regardless of his client’s fitness level or goals, Bruce lives by his motto, “Leaner. Faster. Stronger.”  

With a background in athletics and the military, Bruce brings an infectious “can-do” attitude peppered with positivity to the TFW Orange County facility.

After experimenting with different sports, which included soccer, track, and basketball, Bruce honed his athletic skills in football, excelling as a lineman in his native Texas.  

After High School he joined the United States Marine Corp., seeing it as an opportunity to grow and serve his country. While on active duty, Bruce earned honorable mention and first team honors, as well as played for the All-Marine All-Star Football team.

After the military, he decided to stay in California, playing college football at Chapman University.

Living by his motto, Bruce continually takes on the challenge to become leaner, faster, and stronger in his own life. A personal goal that started when he finished his football career and made the decision to shed the extra weight he packed on as a lineman.

Over the years, he has taken many steps to lose his lineman weight, including obtaining Level 1 and 2 Precision Nutrition certifications, which have enabled him to provide his clients with the nutrition support that they need to achieve their body transformation goals.

Bruce’s personal struggle with weight gives him a unique perspective on the process.  

A constant learner, he is currently finishing his BS in Physical Education and holds certificates in Functional Movement, NASM, TFW 1 and 2, IYCA High School Strength and Conditioning and is an IYCA Olympic Lifting Coach.

His training and personal experience in fitness and nutrition has enabled Bruce to provide his clients with the up-to-date knowledge and training that they need to achieve the best possible results.
