Chung-Fu Triple Chain Theory is a philosophy developed by Will Chung.
There are 3 basic principles of Triple Chain Theory (or TCT for short) that we live by at TFW Orange County, they are...
- Gravity: It’s always working and very predictable
- The body is always in motion: even when you’re sleeping
- Everything is connected: All of your muscles and joints are intertwined and should be sequenced so that your body can move well and pain-free
By utilizing these concepts in our training we have helped people reduce their chronic injury, correct poor posture, increase their strength and just plain move like better humans.
A Functional Movement Screen (or FMS) is the screening tool used to identify limitations or asymmetries in your seven fundamental movement patterns.
These movement patterns are designed to provide observable performance of basic locomotor, manipulative and stabilizing movements by placing you in extreme positions where weaknesses and imbalances become noticeable if appropriate mobility and motor control is not utilized.

When you come to your first training session with us you should wear workout shorts or pants, a comfortable T-shirt or training shirt and flat low training shoes. You should also bring a workout towel, a water bottle and maybe some sort of recovery drink (like a protein shake or Gatorade).
Depending on what your physical ailments or issues are, your initial assessment can range from anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. We try to be as thorough as possible, go through any and all of the issues that you may be experiencing (i.e. chronic pain) and address all of your questions.
Yes, absolutely. After your initial assessment you will be guided through our website and shown how to book your training sessions online through our MindBody app, [live link to MindBody app] where you’ll also be able to set up an account to make booking future classes or appointments simply and without headache.
The industry standard is 24 hours, however we do understand that things can come up last minute so we are flexible on this depending on the situation.
